Coningsby and Tattershall Lions drop-in session on Saturday
On Saturday October 6 Coningsby and Tattershall Lions will be occupying Robert Bell’s office in Coningsby, on the corner of Silver Street and the High Street from 9am-3pm.
This is an opportunity to meet local Lions and find out some of the things they do such as being members of Lion Clubs International, the largest voluntary, humanitarian service in the world.
Every penny donated to the Lions is spent on the needy, there is no deduction for overheds.
Last year, Lions worldwide planted over 15 million trees.
They enjoy fun and fellowship with like-minded people and serve their community with pride.
The Lions are currently raising funds for a worldwide Measles Appeal ‘One shot, one life, and Coningsby and Tattershall Lions will be embarking on a three-day Triandem journey around clubs in the area.
They are looking for people to join in a cavalcade of cyclists on Saturday starting at 2pm at Gibbet’s Nook Service Station.
Contact John 07501 153337 to find out more about riding through the village and supporting the cause.
