Car overturns in serious Coningsby collision

A MAN is in hospital after a collision in Dogdyke Road, Coningsby, in the early hours on Sunday July 15.

The 32-year-old from the area was driving a silver Peugeot 206 when it left the road at around 1:55am and turned over before coming to rest in a dyke.

He was the sole occupant of the car and was taken to the Pilgrim Hospital at Boston with rib, back and head injuries before he was transferred to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham where he is in a serious but stable condition.

The road was then reopened at 8:15am later that morning.

Lincolnshire Police are asking for any witnesses or people with information about the incident to call the collision hotline on 01522 558855.
