ST. MARY’S Church enjoyed a successful Harvest Festival on Sunday and visitors enjoyed a picnic lunch inside the Church.

All the donated food was given the Lunch club in Horncastle.

Cilla Smith said: “We had a lovely day, and around 140 people joined in with us.

“The turnout was fantastic.

“We had absolutely loads of items donated to us, both tinned and fresh.

“We also had an auction that raised money for the Luncheon Club too.”

The picnic in the church served 120 meals to visitors, and guests enjoyed a ploughmans lunch and apple pie.
