BREAKING NEWS: Local man dies in collision at Haltham

A 53-YEAR-OLD local man died in a road collision on the A153 at Haltham this morning, Monday.

He was the driver of a Ford Focus which was in collision with a tanker lorry.

The driver of the tanker, a 39 year-old man from the Humberside area, escaped injury.

Police were alerted to the scene, close to Haltham Garage, shortly after 8am.

The road was closed and reopened at 1.45pm.
