Bowls Club raise cash for Cancer Support Group

The Horncastle Indoor Bowls Club held their annual charity fund raising competition to raise money for the Horncastle and District Cancer Support Group.

The day was a great success, and everyone enjoyed a full day of bowling.

The winners of the bowls competition were: 1st John Day, Maurice Edwards and Judy Moody from Horncastle, 2nd Jackie Green, Maureen Elsom and Sheila Grimwood from Horncastle, 3rd Harry Houlden, Jane Pryor and Jeff Root from Metheringham.

Including all the donations from the bowlers and spectators the day made £1,030.

The club would like to thank all the helpers and thanks the Co-op Funeral Services for their sponsorship.
