A Housing Association has issued a football style warning to a Horncastle couple amid allegations of anti social behaviour on a town estate.

The couple - who have not been named - have been told they could lose their home on Jobson Road, if they breach an’ acceptable behaviour contract’.

Officers at the Longhurst and Havelock Housing Association will deliver an ‘orange warning’ first, followed by a ‘red warning’ that could result in court action being taken and the loss of their home.

Sources have told the News it follows a number of incidents which have seen police called to the area.

The contract features five rules, featured right.

One resident, who did not want to be named, said: “Things have gone on for long enough.

“The vast majority of people around are no trouble but as usual, the minority are spoiling it for the rest,

“What’s included in the warning says it all.”

It is understood the acceptable behaviour contract was delivered to the couple by a PCSO and an officer from L&H Homes.

An image detailing the terms of the contract was published on Horncastle Police’s official Twitter site but was later removed.

A police spokesman confirmed there had been problems with ASB and added they were working with L&H Homes to solve the issue.

Ann Tomlin, Head of Tenancy Services at L&H Homes, said: “We take all incidents of antisocial behaviour very seriously and we take appropriate action when incidents arise.

“We are currently liaising with the Horncastle Police to resolve an incident and whilst we are not able to discuss the details of this specific case, we strongly believe that the steps taken will help resolve the issue.

“It’s important to say that this case is isolated and not representative of the community overall.”

“We’ll carry on with our work with our residents to make sure that the neighbourhood continues to be a safe and happy place to live.”

The Rules:

I WILL NOT GO TO THE TOILET IN MY BACK GARDEN

I WILL NOT KNOCK ON MY NEIGHBOUR’S DOOR LATE AT NIGHT

I WILL NOT THROW ANYTHING INTO MY NEIGHBOUR’S GARDEN

I WILL NOT DRINK ALCOHOL WHILST SITTING OUTSIDE THE FRONT OF MY HOUSE

I WILL NOT SHOUT OR SWEAR AT MY NEIGHBOURS OR AT ANY PERSON ON JOBSON ROAD
