Minting Village Hall will be the venue for an extra-special family gathering next month.
It will be held on July 5 for members of the Loveley family and is being organised by Geoff Giles.
Mr Giles, who lives in Leicester, is the great, great, great, great, great grandson of George Loveley and Ann Toyn who married at St Oswald’s Church in Rand on April 29, 1778.
Mr Giles is inviting any descendants of the couple to the village hall re-union which will take place between 11am and 5pm.
He is expecting relatives to travel from all parts of the UK and a couple from New Zealand have also said they will be attending.
Mr Giles said: “I am expecting quite a few people to attend, including some distant cousins. It should be a memorable day.
Anyone wanting to confirm their place can contact Mr Giles by email on firstname.lastname@example.org.
