Horncastle Lions’ Club have reacted to the North of England floods crisis with immediate grants of cash to the affected counties.

Realising the magnitude of the disaster, club President Alan Toon contacted members and it was agreed that cheques would be forwarded to the treasurers of Districts 105C, West Yorkshire and District 105BN, Cumbria and Lancashire.

The cash will be made available to Lions’ clubs in the affected towns and will help relieve problems within days.

Horncastle Lions are members of the world’s largest service organisation which means they eliminate the costs and delays associated with other charities.
