Lincolnshire Wolds Woodturning Association raises money for chosen charities each year and for 2016 those benefiting were the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance and Lincs Emergency Blood Bikes who shared between them £600 raised through club members’ raffles and draws.

Both charities have been presented with their cheques and the club has started a new year with the decision to sponsor the Air Ambulance once again in 2017.

The club meets on the second Tuesday of the month for a hands on night, where guests and members can have a go on the club lathes and learn from the more experienced members - perfect for beginners.

The last Tuesday of the month is the main Club night, with a demonstration by a professional turner.

Both evenings start at 7pm and run until 10pm, in West Ashby Village Hall.
