LETTER: Thank you to Horncastle Gentleman
Walking down the cycle/walk path from Mareham Road down to the industrial estate, what a transformation has been made over the last few months.
The side was dense with dead wood that has now been cleared out and piled up (waiting for the council people to collect). Rubbish all gone and the grass has been cut.
I understand this has all been done by a gentleman at no cost to anyone, we think his dog may have had a paw in it too.
Someone also puts up seed and fat balls for the birds. Thank you Mr Gentleman very much and we cannot wait until the spring/summer to get the full benefit.
Can we ask, does the council or anyone have a bench they don’t want? This would really compliment the work that has been done.
