Over the past few years, Horncastle Rotary Club has organised a concert for the senior citizens of the town and surrounding area and this year is no exception.
Headlining the 2015 concert, which takes place this Saturday, November 28, at Banovallum School, will be the Julie Deane School of Dance, along with the duo of Gail Hinkins and Graham Turner, and the ever popular Horncastle Ukulele Band.
Rotarians have started to contact local care homes, residential centres and luncheon clubs to make people aware of the concert, which starts at 2.30pm.
In addition you can expect some lively sing-along sessions and lots of good cheer.
“We generally expect between 100 and 150 guests and hopefully it will be the same again this year,” said a Rotary Club spokesman.
“We have not forgotten to include a half time break, where tea, coffee, cake and mince pies will be served – all provided by the lady members of the club.”
Doors open at 1.30pm and the concert should finish at about 4pm.
Anyone wishing to attend should call Mike Rinfret on 01526 569870 or 07789 647792, alternatively email firstname.lastname@example.org.
