The crew down at Wragby Fire Station were getting in a lather for charity at the weekend.

The team was kept busy on Saturday, September 20, with a rolling car wash at the Lincoln Road headquarters.

After a long day battling the soap suds £255 was raised, which will go to support the Firefighters Charity, which in return helps serving and retired firefighters and their families.

On Saturday October 25 Wragby firefighters will be doing a sponsored ladder climb in Wragby Market Place.

On the same day all other fire stations in Lincolnshire will be attempting a ladder climb to try and gain an entry into the Guinness Book of Records.

Wragby Fire Station is also short of crew and will be holding two recruitment open events this autumn on Thursday October 16 from 6pm until 8pm and on Sunday November 16, 10am to 2pm.
