We shall remember them...

THE Rev John Moore conducted the service of remembrance at Coningsby St Michael's Church. The parade then marched to the village war memorial where wreaths were laid.

Short services also took place at Tattershall Market Place war memorial and at Tattershall Thorpe.

During the early afternoon the Rev John Moore also led the annual service at the war graves in Coningsby Cemetery which took place with more youngsters than ever before attending this year.

They laid crosses on each of the war graves remembering the sacrifice made in the world wars and other conflicts.

Wreaths were also laid by the RAF, Royal British Legion, parish councillors and others.

A Ceremony also took place on Tuesday November 11, at 11am with a two minute silence and a short service at the war memorial in Coningsby High Street.
