Sporting win for Horncastle
It is approaching that time of year again when schoolchildren across the country will be gearing up for their sports day events.
This photograph from 1959 shows just such an occasion.
Pictured are members of the successful Horncastle team that defeated Market Rasen Modern School in a triangular school contest.
Also taking part was Louth School.
It was a close-run thing though; Horncastle took the top spot by just one point.
