East Lincolnshire Dialect Society (Far Welter’d) member and Tetford farmer Andy Robinson - who goes under the pen name of Billy Woldswoth - will feature on BBC Radio 4 programme ‘Open Country’ this afternoon (May 5) at 3pm.
The show will be repeated on Saturday morning at 6am, and it will be available on iPlayer after that.
The theme of the programme is Tennyson, his landscape, and dialect poetry.
In the programme, Andy will be reading an extract from his poem ‘Fat Baacon’, which is one of his poems featured in the ‘Inder-ends’ book and CD, published in January by Far Welter’d, selling county-wide and already on its third print run.
