Woodhall school turns academy
WOODHALL Spa based St Andrew’s Church of England Primary School has secured Academy status.
In a statement, chair of governors David Clarke said Academy status would ensure the school had the necessary skills and resources to sustain and improve standards.
He said: “I know the whole school community welcomes the opportunity and we all look forward to a challenging and rewarding future.”
Mr Clarke stressed that there as far as parents, carers and pupils were concerned, there would be no visible difference at the school. He added: “The name of the school will remain the same, as will the uniform and ethos.”
