Six local schools in link-up

SIX local primary schools have joined forces to create a local learning partnership to ensure every child has access to outstanding teaching and learning.

‘The Local Learning Partnership’ includes Billinghay Church of England Primary School, Coningsby St Michael’s Church of England Primary School, Mrs Mary King’s Church of England Primary School, Tattershall Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School, Tattershall Primary School and Walcott Primary School.

Heather Sandy, head teacher at Tattershall Primary School, said: “The head teachers, governors and staff of all six schools are delighted with this opportunity to share good practice and are working together to ensure the success of the venture.

“This has been made possible by a funding grant from Lincolnshire County Council to encourage schools in the county to work more closely together.

“It is important to note that there has been no change to the organisation or structure of individual schools.

“This is a genuine opportunity for teachers to learn from one another and work with colleagues from others schools on areas such as planning, curriculum and learning. All involved look forward to reporting on its impact.”

Anyone who would like further information should contact their child’s respective school.
