Students at St. Andrew’s Primary School, Woodhall Spa, were taken back to the Second World War’s Home Front thanks to a workshop with a living history mobile museum.

‘We’ll Meet Again’ is a mobile war museum that takes a collection of memorabilia into schools to create a hands-on learning experience.

A number of children went into school dressed in period costume, including evacuees, soldiers and even a spiv, complete with cigarettes and other black market items.

A spokesman for the museum said: “We were amazed how hard the children had worked on their costumes and the level of detail involved.”
