Oo-la-la - Bardney pupils get an Eiffel

Bardney Primary School

Bardney Primary School

Pupils at Bardney Primary School really have gone up in the world when it comes to learning about the French way of life.

As part of a project on French culture, they built models of the famous Eiffel Tower.

The pupils - from Class Four - constructed the models as homework and then brought them into school - very carefully.

The Eiffel Tower was the tallest structure in the world when it opened in 1889. Now, it’s only the fifth highest in France.

Pupils also learned about French cookery and literacy. Our photograph (above ) shows the pupils with some of their
models.
