Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School, Horncastle, welcomed eight new members of staff
at the beginning of the school year.

These were Miss Gillies, science TA, Miss Kutarski, subject leader for art, Miss Maclean, head of PE, Mrs Martin, reception/admin. support, Mr Noon, history teacher - GTP, Mrs Sutcliffe, history teacher, Miss Stuart, maths teacher, and Mrs Waters, English teacher.

QEGS also started the new school year as an academy.

This will cause some changes but for students, staff and parents any changes will be primarily to do with additional funding the school is due to receive.

QEGS open evening is taking place tonight (Wednesday,
September 26) and starts at 6.30pm. All parents, families and friends are welcome.

The whole school will be open with numerous activities and pieces of work on display.

Guided tours will be taking place for those unfamiliar with the school and refreshments will be available throughout the evening.
