Jennifer Bargh, a teacher from Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School in Horncastle, has just returned from Bhola Island in Bangladesh.

It follow on from an equally successful visit to the UK by Asim Acharjee from Tabgi Secondary School in June 2013. The visits are part of an ongoing collaborative partnership between the two schools that began through the British Council’s Connecting Classrooms scheme in 2012. It has involved students sharing personal experiences of floods through letters and drawings to encourage a commitment to sustainable practices.
