National Trust property Gunby Estate, Hall and Gardens between will open again this weekend and is kicking off the season with lots of Easter fun.
Hop into the Gunby gardens on Sunday, March 27 and Monday, March 28 and join in the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt – pick up a trail, solve the clues, find the answers and collect a Cadbury chocolate bunny as reward.
Three floors of the house are open and the eight-acre gardens have bright spring flowers. The tearoom serves drinks and treats and the latest National Trust giftware is on offer in the retail corner.
Visitor experience manager, Astrid Gatenby said: “We can’t wait to share Gunby with visitors again. During the winter break we have managed to deep-clean our collection and do essential maintenance in the grounds and gardens, ready for a busy year.”
The Gunby gardens and tea-room will be open (11am–5pm) from March 24. The house will be open Saturday-Wednesday (closed Thursdays and Fridays) from 26 March.
The Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts are from 11am to 4pm – trails cost £1.50 each (on top of the admission price). For more info, go to: www.nationaltrust.org.uk/gunby-hall.
