VIDEO UPDATE: Mary Scott’s family appeal for help in finding her
Specialist police search teams looking for missing Market Rasen pensioner Mary Scott are focussing their efforts on Hainton after a reported sighting.
Mary’s grandson, Alex Stork, urged people not to interfere with searches in the Sixhills and Hainton area, but said unofficial searches by members of the public in other areas would be welcomed by the family.
He urged people to be on the lookout in the following areas: West Barkwith heading SW down the Louth Road to Wragby
East from Wragby along the A158 to and around Strubby.
B1202 (Bardney Road) heading south from Wragby all the way to Bardney
West along the A158 from Wragby looking down lanes.
East along the A158 from Wragby all the way to Horncastle looking down lanes.
Market Stainton.
South down A1225 from Market Stainton.
Gayton Le Wold and East to Louth.
Mary, who has Alzheimer’s disease, went missing from her home in Acre Close on December 27.
Insp Simon Outen has again urged residents and property owners in rural areas to check their land and outbuildings for any sign of Mary.
Although Marion suffers from dementia, she is very fit and agile and may appear much younger than her age.
Marion is described as around 5ft 4in tall, of slight build with short black hair. She was wearing brown cord trousers, grey slip-on shoes and a green top. It is thought she was wearing a pink jacket.
