Police appeal after cabling theft
A Horncastle school has been targeted by cable thieves.
Banovallum School was targeted some time between Monday evening and Wednesday morning.
Police are investigating the theft of cabling from CCTV equipment at the school.
Officers would like to trace three males who were seen within the school grounds at 6.30pm on Monday.
They are described as being in their late teens, one with a grey hoodie, dark track suit bottoms and dark trainers, and another in a darke jacket and black cap.
Two males matching that description visited one of the town’s scrap dealers on Monday afternoon enquiring about the scrap price of similar cable.
Anyone with information should contact PCSO Nigel Wass by dialling 101 and quoting incident number 57 of February 6.
