Man accused of assault in court

A HORNCASTLE man charged with assaulting a police constable will stand trial at Lincoln Magistrates Court.

Christopher Lee Elliott, 28, of Lincoln Road is accused of assaulting PC Hesketh in Wragby on August 21.

Mr Elliott’s case was adjourned for trial when he appeared before Lincoln magistrates on September 19.

A trial date was not set.
