Police in Horncastle are stepping up patrols after reports of anti-social behaviour on a housing estate.

Residents living in the area of Dymoke Drive, N’Dola Drive and Cromwell Avenue have raised concerns.

Police are particularly interested to hear from anyone who has seen a quad bike being ridden about without lights.

Anyone with information should use the non-emergency 101 number.

Meanwhile, police say recent patrols have helped improve parking close to two schools on Bowl Alley Lane.

There had been complaints about inconsiderate parking, particularly at the beginning and end of the school day.

Police held a meeting with Highways officials last week.

Although the situation has improved, police say they will be holding ‘snap’ patrols, working alongside traffic enforcement officers from the County Council.

Officers have also appealed to people not to leave Christmas presents on view in parked vehicles.

They have also asked people to be vigilant when withdrawing large amounts of money from cash machines.
