Further charges for breaking bail

A HORNCASTLE man awaiting sentencing for theft, public order and police assault charges has been charged with committing two further thefts and breaking his bail conditions.

Matthew Lloyd Freeman, 29, of North Street, was due to be sentenced on July 31but he was back at Skegness Magistrates’ Court last Tuesday, July 10.

On July 6 and on July 9 Mr Freeman allegedly stole food from The Co-operative supermarket in Conging Street, in Horncastle.

His bail conditions for his previous offences stated he should not enter that particular store or its car park.

Admitting the new offences, Mr Freeman told District Judge John Stobart that he did not realise he was doing it.

The judge re bailed Mr Freeman until July 31.

Judge Stobart warned him that if he committed any further offences he would be remanded in custody until his sentencing date.
