Duo in court on multiple charges
Two men appeared at Lincoln Crown Court on charges of dangerous driving, witness intimidation and conspiracy to commit burglary.
James Lee Pennell, 23, of Willow Court, Tattershall, and Warren Jonathan Platts, 22, of White Pitt Way, Swaby, spoke only to confirm their names during a preliminary hearing on Friday.
It is alleged the conspiracy charges relate to an incident involving a former girlfriend of Platts at an address in Brookenby on December 10 and that the allegations of dangerous driving and witness intimidation relate to an incident in Louth on December 26.
No pleas were entered and both men will next appear on 7 June.
Both men were granted conditional bail and will have to remain at named addresses between 12-noon and 10am every day, where they will be electronically monitored.
They are also banned from entering Louth centre or Brookenby and from contacting witnesses and each other in any way.
Judge Sean Morris adjourned the case and told both men: “Be back here on 7 June for your plea and case management hearing. The earlier a guilty plea is entered, the lesser the sentence.”
