18 month ban for drink driver

A 69-YEAR-OLD Horncastle man has been disqualified from driving for 18 months after he pleaded guilty of being twice over the legal alcohol limit.

Keith Walter of Mareham Road, Horncastle, appeared at Skegness Magistrates’ Court last week where he admitted to having 195 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.

The legal limit is 80 milligrammes of alcohol.

As well as his driving ban he was also fined £250, and ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 in costs.
