Young wildlife fans have a buzzy time

The weather was warm and the bees were well behaved as members, together with parents, put on bee suits to have look in one of Roger’s hives.

Fred Parker, an expert beekeeper and chairman of Horncastle Beekeepers, showed them the bees and explained what goes on inside a hive.

The next meeting is an activity and emergency first aid session at Snipe Dales Country Park on Sunday, June 19.
