Parish councillors in Woodhall Spa have confirmed they will meet next Tuesday to finally decide on the future management of Jubilee Park.
The complex has been at the centre of speculation for several months after councillors said they wanted to hand over control to a charitable company.
Talks have been taking place with interim directors of the proposed new company - so far without any agreement.
However, councillors have called an extraordinary meeting on Tuesday (February 4) at 7.30pm to decide whether it is possible to sign a lease agreement.
If not, the agenda for the meeting includes the option of the parish council forming its own charitable company.
Council chairman David Clarke has previously set February as the deadline for an agreement after warning the speculation could not continue.
He is determined to get a new management structure in place for the start of the new tourist season.
Meanwhile, councillors will also meet next Tuesday afternoon (2.15) to discuss the latest planning applications for the village.
The agenda includes several applications to fell trees in conservation areas - including Gorse Close, Woodland Drive and The Broadway.
