Local walkers are being urged to support a marathon trek by a Lincoln solicitor who is raising funds inn aid of Beating Bowel Cancer.
Phil Cragg is walking the 147-mile Viking Way for the charity, starting at the Humber Bridge on May 1.
He is due to walk the Horncastle to Woodhall Spa leg on Monday May 4.
Mr Cragg will have a ‘pit stop’ at the Old Stables at 12.1pm5 and aims to set off again at 1pm.
The town’s Walkers for Welcome Group is supporting Mr Cragg and is hoping as many people as possible will sup[port him on the Horncastle leg..
If anyone is unable to come along to the walk, they can still make a donation to the charity to help the work they do offering support to patients and raising awareness of Bowel Cancer.
