Tattershall’s two medieval buildings will be coming together for an evening of festive song with the help of Mareham le Fen Brass Band.
The Carol Concert, on Saturday, December 5, begins in the castle with some festive ditties, before moving over to the atmospheric interior of Holy Trinity Collegiate Church for the main event.
Due to high ticket sales, any carollers arriving on the night must go straight to the church at 5.30pm, as the ground floor of the castle is at its maximum capacity.
All visitors will have a chance to revive themselves with a cup of mulled wine and a mince pie, then the lights will be extinguished in the Church, the candles will be lit and the story of Christmas will unfold through readings and of course a whole host of popular Christmas carols.
Tickets cost £4 and £2 (£12 family) from 01526 342543.
