A team of Lincolnshire opticians are bringing their expertise to Horncastle with the opening of Horncastle Eye Care.
The store opens its doors later this month and the team of Ian Chidwick, Karen Stringer and Carol and Will Daulat would like to welcome all comers to see what they have to offer.
Horncastle Eye Care will be offering a full service to its clients, from standard frames to rimless and designer options, including a full children’s range.
With brand-new, state of the art, equipment the centre will also offer on-site glazing and a contact lens service.
Ian’s background is in rimless glasses and frame construction and will be working alongside Karen, who has years of experience working at opticians.
Carol and Will will be running the testing side of the business on the top of the range equipment on site.
Ian said: “After running a centre in Grimsby we saw the opportunity came up in Horncastle with this property going on the market.
“We thought it was an opportunity too good to miss, which is why we are here.”
Horncastle Eye Care will be open to all customers with wide doorways and removable seating for disabled customers who wish to be tested at the Market Place store.
Ian added: “I started as a frame maker, specialising in making frames for people with disfigured faces.
“I then started to make rimless glasses and then learned the dispensing side of the business.
“There’s a lot of potential in Horncastle and we’re looking forward to serving the people who live here.”
The centre will open from Monday to Saturday and Ian and his team would like to welcome you to an open day on Saturday March 15.
There will be light refreshments and the opportunity to see what the store has on offer.
