New jobs will be created in Woodhall Spa with the opening of a new-look business this Saturday.
Smoothies, which is based in The Broadway, will re-launch with an exciting new look.
The business has been taken over by three directors - Carole Burnell, Thomas Gardner and John Pinder.
They aim to build on the success of the ‘old style’ Smoothies and bring a taste of America to the village.
Mr Pinder revealed the entire store would feature a new-look, based on 50s America.
He said: “The previous Smoothies was very popular, but when we heard it was for sale we had no hesitation in buying it.
“We have some very exciting plans and ideas and hopefully we can really take the business forward.”
The existing DVD-side of the business will continue after attracting 400 customers in the last two months alone.
Popular Smoothies will continue to be a key part of the day-to-day business although there will be a number of new recipes - including ‘crunchy’.
A new development will see a range of American-style food served.
There will be an American Hot Dog machine while American pancakes and nachos will also be on the menu, alongside brand new soda floats.
Mr Pinder added: “We’ve gone for a new look and it is very retro, very much based on the American 50s.”
Mr Pinder said it was hoped to employ between “five-to-ten” people.
The opening will be held on Saturday at 10am and a number of local councillors and dignitaries have been invited.
