Lincolnshire Co-op in Tattershall Opens
Tattershall once again has a convenience store in the Market Place after Lincolnshire Co-op opened a new site there on Saturday.
The shop is Lincolnshire Co-op’s 76th foodstore, and it opened its doors after a £150,000 refit.
Situated in the building vacated by Haldanes supermarket after the company filed for administration in 2011, the 6,500 sqft store has created 25 new jobs.
It will sell a wide range of goods including fresh fruit and vegetables, newspapers, and chilled, frozen and tinned groceries.
It will also have a deli counter and will sell Lincolnshire Quality assured meat, born and reared in the county.
Products from Lincolnshire Co-op’s Love Local range will also be on offer, including plum bread and tea loaf from Horncastle’s Myers Bakery, and ice cream made by Dennetts in Spilsby.
Lincolnshire Co-op Chief Executive Ursula Lidbetter said: “We’re delighted to be extending our services by opening our new store in Tattershall.
“We’ve got members and customers who use our nearby outlets and we know there are lots of people out there who will appreciate the convenience of having another store in the area.”
