Chief Exec revealed to be top earner at East Lindsey District Council
According to ELDC’s draft annual statement of accounts, the top earner at the council last year was Chief Executive Nigel Howells.
His total package, including salary, pension contribution and expenses amounted to £157,279.
Mr Howell’s remuneration has not been affected by the fact that his workload has eased following the decision of ELDC to hive off many of its services to a private company, Compass Point Business Services Ltd.
The next highest earner at the Manby-based authority was deputy Chief Exec Stuart Davy - £108,136.
