The roll-out of superfast broadband is progressing well, according to the latest statement from Lincolnshire County Council.
Lincolnshire Broadband Programme Manager Steve Brookes says “large swathes” of Horncastle and Woodhall Spa can now receive it.
In Horncastle, the roll-out by OnLincolnshire was “51 per cent complete” covering 2,130 premises, with Woodhall Spa 58 per cent complete, covering 1,687 premises, Mr Brookes said.
Two ‘cabinets’ were installed in Horncastle last week and one in Coningsby, as the roll-out proceeds.
Onlincolnshire’s website can tell individual premises if they can obtain superfast broadband and the areas that have it will receive flyers. Users must contact their ISP to upgrade.
