Those who know him would say Tim Mills could sell sand to a Saharan - or even ice to an Eskimo.
Now, the owner of the Bull Hotel has taken on a new challenge - selling tapas to the people of Horncastle.
Tim has already started serving tasty tapas and has converted a room into a Spanish-style restaurant which will open next month.
The initial signs are promising - so much so that Tim recommends customers should book in advance for tapas evenings on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Tim said: “We’ve got Chinese, Indian and Italian restaurants in town and I just thought we needed something different.
“I used to cook tapas 20 years ago in Dorset and love that type of food myself so I just thought - why not?
“It’s a first for Horncastle and it’s gone down really well. People certainly seem to like it.”
Tim is currently offering a special deal which allows customers to order four different dishes for £12.95.
So, if the thought of ‘Alitasde Polo’ (that’s spicy chicken wings in a garlic wine sauce) sounds good, you know where to go.
As Tim says, a touch of Costa del Horncastle has arrived!
