There’s something new to go with the resident ghost at the Leagate Inn near Coningsby - two Certificate of Excellence Awards from Trip Advisor.

Management and staff are celebrating the dazzling double with one award going to the accommodation side of the business and the other to the highly acclaimed restaurant.

Manager Josh Dennison told the News: “We’re absolutely delighted.

”Most places are happy with one Certificate of Excellence so to get two is brilliant.”

Mr Dennison said the awards were the result of outstanding teamwork.

He added: “Everyone who works here has played a part.

“There’s a great team spirit and it’s good to see that hard work has been recognised by the awards - and the fact we are very busy.

“We do have high standards - both in the hotel side of the business and the restaurant.”

Owners Mark and Sharon Dennison are pictured above with one of the certificates.

The Inn dates from the 16th century and boasts a number of historic features.

No doubt the resident ghost - known as Jack Cooper - will be proud of the awards.
