East Lindsey residents who want the chance to save money on their energy bills have less than a week left to sign up for the Lincolnshire Energy Switch scheme.
So far more than 1,300 gas and electricity customers in Lincolnshire have signed up to potentially save money on their home energy bills through the new collective Lincolnshire Energy Switch scheme (LESS).
Energy suppliers can offer lower energy prices to a collective contract made up of thousands of customers so the more residents who register, the more the potential savings may be.
Customers across the county have until Monday, February 17 to register their interest in the scheme, launched by East Lindsey District Council and six other Lincolnshire authorities.
Once the registration deadline has passed, the tariff of the lowest bidding energy supplier will be offered to residents. Residents can then choose to accept the offer or not. People on pre-payment meters can also choose to switch.
To register visit www.e-lindsey.gov.uk or call 01522 782067 (lines are open 10am to 6pm, Monday to Friday).
