It’s a ‘crackling’ success as Minting Park strikes gold

When it comes to trophies, owners and staff at Minting Park Farm are certainly well versed to bringing home the bacon.

They enjoyed the latest in a long line of ‘crackling’ successes in a top national event at Newark.

The farm entered five categories and won four gold awards and one silver.

All the awards were secured at the British Pig Executive Roadshow.

The event showcased the best pork products in the country with a record number of entries.

Despite that strong competition, Minting Park continued their success story.

The farm secured gold awards for their farmhouse sausages, black treacle try-cured back bacon, dry-cured streaky bacon and Mediterranean pork burgers.

The silver award came in the dry-cured back bacon category.

The farm is owned by Stephanie Camm and Henry Padfield.

Stephanie, pictured above, said: “All the latest award winning products are made by ourselves in our farm shop using our home bred and reared British Lop Pigs.

“We’re extremely proud.”

The farm is a family run operation and covers 600 acres.
