Coningsby business brews up award

A Coningsby coffee shop has been named Best Business by the town council.

The Ginger Cow Coffee House in Silver Street was this year’s winner of the John Ranshaw Business Shield, which is presented to the business considered to have made the most progress in the village.

“You are a wonderful asset to the village, both visibly and socially,” said Council Chairman Matthew Mason as his presented the award. “Do keep up the good work.”

Accepting the shield was Ginger Cow proprietor Di Connelly, along with assistant Jayne Moorhouse, who said after the presentation: “This means a lot to us as we genuinely care about the local community. We have many loyal customers who have helped us in our success and we would like to thank them all.”
