A woman assisted by an air ambulance crew last Friday after her car left the road and rolled into a ditch near Horncastle, ending up on its roof.

At 1.50pm, Magpas Helimedix, with doctor Zoe Smeed and paramedic Jo Lambert, arrived at the scene and assessed a woman in her 50s who had suffered injuries to her upper body.

The woman was subsequently taken to Lincoln Hospital, in a stable condition, by an East Midlands Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew.
