3.10pm, Friday - TWO men have been arrested in connection with the death of a man in Horncastle.
Police were called to a house at about 11pm last night in Curtis Close where a 42-year-old man was found dead at the scene.

He had died suddenly and a police spokesperson said the death was being treated as suspicious.

A post mortem is due to be carried out this afternoon to establish how the man died. At the moment it is described as unexplained.

A man aged 36 and another aged 22 have been arrested as part of the investigation.

People living in the street said they had not seen anything unusual happening around the time the police were called.

A forensic team have also visited the house today.

The scene at Curtis Close this afternoon was almost deserted, save for two police officers guarding the house.

The mid-terraced house where the man's body was discovered has been cordoned off by police.

They have also cordoned off eleven wheelie bins to the rear of the terrace.
