Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after crash

A MOTORCYCLIST had to be airlifted to hospital after a crash on the A158 in High Toynton.
Police said that the 65-year-old from Sheffield was the only person involved in the crash and his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.


He was riding a silver Harley Davidson Sportster when the accident happened shortly before 11am in Bunker's Hollow.


The road was closed until 1pm and the injured man was taken to Boston Pilgrim Hospital by the air ambulance.
