AROUND 300 people braved the showers for terrier racing at Tetford's recreation ground on Saturday evening.
The winning dog was Holly from Boston who pipped Nettle from Tetford, who has won the event for the past two years, to the post in the final.

The racing comprised of 16 heats, four quarter-finals, two semi-finals and a final.

Alongside a bar and a barbecue, other attractions included a bouncy castle, coconut shy and various stalls.

The event was organised by Tetford and Salmonby Recreational Ground Committee and all proceeds will go towards their funds.
