Saturday, 5pm - WOULD you like to stand on an Antony Gormley style plinth?
The world-famous artist has given Woodhall Spa Cottage Museum permission to stage their very own version of this evocative piece of art - which appeared in London's Trafalgar Square last year.
Similar to Gormley's project, people would be invited to stand on the plinth and stage performances of some kind.
It would form part of the People's Pageant - a event being organised as a centenery celebration of a pageant which took place in Woodhall Spa.
Jackie Goodall, from the museum, said the idea was still in its very early stages.
She said the original pageant took place in July, 1911.
Various dignitories would have attended along with Lady Weigall, who built Jubilee Park for the people of Woodhall Spa in the 1930s,
"The great and the good of Woodhall Spa would have been there," said Jackie.
"It was supposed to have been a celebration of the centenery of the founding of the spa water, in 1811. But later evidence revealed the water was not actually found until 1821."
This new pageant will not be the same as the historic one.
Instead it will feature lots of community activities.
"There will be things such as a hog roast and music by a steel band or swing band," said Jackie.
Jubilee Park is one of the possible locations where the pageant could take place, along with the Royal Square.
Before this event can happen, the museum needs to find funding.
Jackie said they were hoping to organise the event through the Cultural Olympiad - an initiative aimed at commissioning artistic events in the lead up to London Olympics 2012.
"Next year it's Lincolnshire's turn to receive funding under this scheme," she said.
The project is seeking volunteers. For further information call Jackie Goodall 01526 352454.
