Funk Bus ready to hit the road

A FUNK bus all set to keep youngsters entertained in remote rural areas is visiting a local school.
East Lindsey District Council developed the £260,000 Funk Bus with lottery funding and it has been designed by students from across the area.

It carries equipment including computers, a stereo system, a dance mat, games consoles and an area to watch films.

The Funk Bus is the first vehicle of its kind in the East Midlands and is designed to for youngsters without access to a youth centre.

People can check out the Funk Bus at Gartree Secondary School in Tattershall on Friday May 23 from 9am to 4pm.
