Thursday, 5pm - A COUPLE whose baby daughter narrowly survived meningitis are holding fundraising events as part of their campaign to raise awareness of the disease.
Jason Longdon and Sarah Spittles, of Prince Charles Avenue, Wragby, spoke to The News in June about their daughter Saskia's battle.

The 10-month-old contracted meningitis a few months ago and consequently lost some of her fingers and part of one of her legs.

They have organised an Hawaiian Night at the Railway Hotel, Woodhall Spa on Friday, at 7.30pm.

Following on from this will be fundraising event at the village's Adam and Eve pub on August 7.
